Our Curriculum

Children in Years 1 to 6 are taught from the National Primary Curriculum. Children’s learning is enhanced by providing practical fun activities to encourage them to use their learning in different situations. We also make meaningful links between subject areas providing further opportunities in English, Maths and ICT skills.

Early reading and phonics skills are taught through the comprehensive Twinkl phonics scheme (a DfE validated scheme) and reading is supported by a comprehensive phonic book scheme for EYFS and Key Stage 1 and Accelerated Reader is used as children progress into Key Stage 2.
