This half term our topic is 'Where are the wild and wonderful creatures?'

For the next few weeks, we will be learning about farm yard animals, the life cycle of a frog and Eid al-Fitr.

In Maths, we will be learning about numbers to 20.

Reminders 

Children come to school in their P.E kits every Tuesday and Friday.

Reading books are changed every Monday and Thursday.

Bring a school book bag everyday and check this when you are at home.

Please read with your child everyday and sign their diary.

Children may bring a water bottle to school (but should only bring plain water).

Please could you send a spare set of named uniform and underwear for your child to keep in school.

 

Please sign your child's reading diary every time they share a book with you at home. Books will be changed every Monday and Thursday. 

They will receive a sticker on their card every time they read at home and they will then receive prizes for the cards they complete!

Please also help us to help the children by reinforcing the sounds being taught at school. Phonics is the method by which we teach reading and writing. Here are some videos which demonstrate the correct pronunciations.
